ChessBaron and SAC – a marriage made in heaven?
Now that the Staunton chess set store ChessBaron and the theme chess set manufacture SAC (Studio Anne Carlton) are partners, is this a marriage made in heaven? It certainly seems so. ChessBaron were always at the forefront of design excellence for their Staunton range, and this is now complimented by the theme sets they now market on behalf of SAC. The beauty of the arrangement is that they now have the best of both worlds. If you need a set representing the Battle of Waterloo, or the American Civil War – then you can choose from SAC on ChessBaron’s website. If you prefer Staunton with a knight that looks like a horse and Queen that shows her coronet, then you can have that instead. A win-win, good for ChessBaron and good for SAC.
