Camera strobes are a necessity for studio photographers and can be acceptable for a wedding photojournalist too.  Using available light and mixing light is important in preserving the moment naturally for the photojournalist. Staging moments, tilting your camera sideways and adding special effects filters to an image are NOT examples of photojournalism. These techniques sensationalize a photo and can add an interesting effect to a photo, but they are not part of the original moment.  Find a real wedding photojournalist who can capture the moments naturally and without any help from computerized effects.  After all, a good photo won’t need manipulation.
