With the cost of labor that you pay a mechanic for car repairs it is good if you can save some money on the parts. One more thing you should consider is this; chances are that the car that you are having repaired is not a new vehicle. It is probably one that you have been driving for a while. Why would you want to spend extra money on a new part to put in a car that is not new? Wouldn’t make more sense to go with used auto parts on a used car? Especially if you are making payments on your car, you should try to make repairs as cheap as possible.This is one working man’s humble opinion about the benefits of using used parts versus new parts in fixing our cars. I think it makes sense, but to each his own.
