The Chinese economy is growing at a very fast pace in comparison to the rest of the western world. As a keen investor, it is always a prudent move to gain exposure to fast growing regions. Due to the complex nature of the Chinese legal system I have been unable to find a way to invest in Chinese shares without purchasing a managed fund or trying to find opportunities in the Hong Kong market. A recent development in the US markets has proved a new opportunity for investors who want to gain exposure to China. I can buy and sell a China Index ETF which is an index that tracks the major corporations in China. The great thing about this is that they are listed on the US exchange which eliminates the need to have foreign currency brokerage accounts. I can also control this through an online brokerage account which makes this simple and easy.
