According to a report, the public safety on road is at high risk due to lack of traffic control training. Due to its lacking, the risk of road accidents related to driving is also increasing. As a solution, the RTA Board of Australia has designed a traffic control program for professional traffic controllers.

Through this mechanism, people are made more capable to deal with public safety issue on roads. This training is given to professional traffic controllers for better manageability of traffic on roads. Certain perquisites like a registered driving licence are a must in this case. First, the traffic control mechanisms are introduced to the professional trainers. Apart from this, traffic control by using bats like stop and slow speed are also taught. Besides these, even worksite traffic planning and designing and auditing of the same is also taught to the professionals.
