My sister and I have been debating on the best songs ever written. She thinks “Thriller” by Michael Jackson is the best, and I think “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen is. They are both great songs, but I think I am right. Most of the polls on the internet agree with her though. I guess it is just a matter of personal taste though. She said that song brings back so many memories for her. I am quite a bit younger than her, and “Thriller” brings back more memories for me. This is one subject that we will probably never agree on.

Many avenues are available for learning musical skills.  In the past, you usually had to hire a teacher and that was your only option.  Today, you could get a vocal training CD course for singing to learn the basics of singing and get better.  Some of the CDs are good because they’re created by experienced, well known vocal coaches.  I suggest staying away from any courses, which aren’t very reputable in the singing market.  Many people claim they can teach singing, but they don’t have practical experience.  I had that experience in the past while looking for a teacher.

First, let me talk a bit about confidence. If there is silence during a conversation that is not necessarily a bad sign. How often do you talk with your friends two hours straight without minor breaks? Not that often, I guess. But if the silence gets awkward street magic revealed or magic tricks are a great way to break the silence. You need however to stay calm when performing the tricks, or you will just multiply the awkwardness of the moment. So learn your tricks thoroughly!

So you want someone to Explain Tablature? Well just like learning to read musics and play musics you have to learn tablature as well.  A quick explanation of tablature  is that is has 6 staffs, and the guitar has six strings, so that is 1 for each string on the guitar. Each staff will have either a dash or a number on it. With the  dash, you play nothing on that string, but with if there is a number, you should play the corresponding fret number for that string.  Music can be a bit overwhelming but if you break it down into step and tables you will find it can be fun.

My children love to do arts and crafts! I think they could spend every waking hour creating things. It is great and I have decided this year to put that to use and start making some cards for our family. I have been shopping around online for Card Blanks. I would like to get some in different colors and sizes. I think that having a large variety to choose from would be good and really get my kids’ creative juices flowing. I have found some online that look good, but I think I am going to keep looking until I find a few more.

My sister dropped by yesterday and we sat and talked for hours, it was really a nice afternoon. She told me how her son, David is getting ready to go college. It seems only yesterday he was a baby. As a way to support himself while in college she said he was planning to learn how to sing backup vocals for a friend who sings lead in a country band. I have always adored Christian music, and being able to worship God through music. I recently made the decision to learn how to play the guitar, so that I could accompany my voice through the use of an instrument, allowing me to stay more on key. My mother has begun to prepare for the inevitable, and wants to make sure her children do not have to deal with so much work dealing with their belongings. So she has recently contacted the gold exchange in her state, similar to the one here, the Indiana Gold Exchange.  She was relieved that she had an agency that would offer her accurate and fair appraisals and exchange the pieces of jewelry we children were not emotionally attached to.  She felt that the important pieces, such as great-grandfather’s pocket watch and Uncle Ed’s coin collections would remain preserved for the family, while Aunt Clara’s Egyptian choker necklace could go to a home that would appreciate it.
