I love taking my children to different places. Teaching them about different things like trains, and airplanes. When we travel there are so many different places to explore.

I love to look at different travel search engines to help me find different places to visit. I know that the boys loves to learn about the different places and they have fun exploring.

Our last vacation was so much fun because we found a new miniature golf course. Finding a new places to go play was not only fun for the boys but it was so much fun for the whole family.

Lafond Winery has one of the finest reputations as a desirable Santa Barbara vineyard. The winery boasts so many amenities- good food, fabulous wine, & seriously fun packed tours for the more adventurous guests that visit each month.

My husband Jack & I are particularly interested in Lafond Winery’s offerings of the famous Captain Jack Tours. After all, my husband’s name is also Jack!

We’re going there for our anniversary in November. I can’t wait to savor that divine wine, as I’ve heard it called.

For more info jump on the web at www.lafondwinery.com, & check it out for fun in the sun!

Me and my friends all moved out to Texas when we graduated from high school. We all wanted to go there for a year before starting college their the next year. We got a bit home sick however and decided to make a road trip home for a week then come back after visiting a bit.

We wanted to find the Cheapest hotel rates in Madison because we didn’t have much money after gas. These gas prices are really making it hard to take road trips, it’s going to cost us more to drive home than to fly! But we refused to let the gas issue stop us, we enjoy road trips too much!

Now that my children are all grown up, vacationing to Florida and Virginia are something of the past I suppose. I still want to continue our family tradition of vacationing together once a year but I think a more elite and exotic location is preferable. I’ve been considering traveling to Bali Rental Villas because of it’s prime location, reasonable costs and extravagant amenities. They also have rooms that can house my nine member family comfortably. The views are breath taking and the water is sky blue. I’m going to do more research to see if they normally house families or if it’s a honeymooner type of resort. If anyone knows, please tell!

Built in 1988, the spacious resort consists of 2-storey buildings and palm-lined bungalows. We stayed at the bungalows and it was incredible experience. The complex is in a new area by the long Bayahibe beach. Guests arrive in a pleasant lobby with a 24-hour reception and a currency exchange desk. There is a small supermarket, a number of shops,a boutique and a souvenir shop, a hairdresser, bars, a nightclub, a varied restaurant choice and a public Internet terminal. Room and laundry service, medical assistance. The stuff was very friendly and everybody did his best to make our stay pleasant.

Traveling is pleasurable. Some people even scrimp on daily living cost just so they can travel during spring break and enjoy the fruits of their labor. Here are a few things to take note if you’re torn between doing the travel arrangements on your own or getting airline travel agents to help you out. 1)    Book early. Most airlines offer promotions ahead of time. In most cases, if you book a ticket now, travel period wouldn’t be in another three to four months. This usually saves you 30% from the actual rates. 2)     Avoid fees. Sometimes you get too worked up by the unbelievably low fares. Just be sure to check rebooking or cancellation fees in case something comes up.3)    Compare prices across airlines. Don’t jump the gun double check if other airlines don’t have upcoming promotions.

We are planning a trip to Australia, and will start our vacation in Sydney. I’ve been looking through our options for Sydney hotels, and I think I want to stay at the Punt Hill North Shore Sydney. They look to be conveniently located, and have a restaurant and bar where I can eat and have a drink to relax after a day of sight seeing. It should be easy to get to the city center, the central business district, and the harbour since it is a short stroll from the Atarmon Train Station. I am really looking forward to our trip since I have wanted to visit Australia for a long time.

One of my favorite things to do when I would stay home from school, sick, when I was younger was to watch television. My favorite show was on the Travel Channel. I would watch this woman travel from country to country, and city to city. She would show all of the great things that each of those places would offer. She would go to places like France, and show off the nicest Paris hotels. I would daydream about being in those places, myself. I was so jealous of her. I have always known, though, that someday I will see those things also.

I was recently out shopping for tents and I saw some SUV tents, and I was wondering if it made sense to buy these. Would it be better to get a smaller tent? Or are these tents worth the money? I don’t know what I really need from a tent, but I think a big tent might be too heavy for me to carry sometimes since I might also want to go backpacking with my family rather than just driving to campsites. When does it make sense to buy SUV tents, and when is it better to buy other types of tents?
