Leading Cause Of Death In The United States
The leading cause of death in both men and women is heart disease, and the second cause of death is cancer. Between these two causes of death it will kill over one million people each year. So how do you beat the leading cause of death. Exercise and eating right is a great start. Heart disease happens when plaque builds up in the arteries causing the heart to have to pump harder in order for the same amount of blood to be pumped through out the body. If the heart works to hard or one of the arteries gets clogged it could cause you to have a heart attack. There are many types of cancer, but some of them you can prevent if you eat right and exercise. If you do not smoke you will reduce the risk of lung, and gum cancer greatly. Both of these leading causes of death could be prevented if you exercise and eat right on a daily basis.
