Obviously arch pain commonly happens to those people who always stand the whole day especially to those who are obese or overweight and also to those who are standing in hard surfaces. The strains that these condition places on the arch structure of the foot are great and eventually the foot can no longer resist the forces, resulting in arch pain. Plantar fasciitis is the most commonly cause of arch pain, worst in the first few steps in the morning. And later in the day it tends to get worse. Other causes of arch pain include strains of the ligaments and joints of the midfoot region.
