High blood pressure is a serious condition which can often creep up on you over the years and rarely if ever produces any symptoms to tell you that you have a problem. Affecting many areas of the body high blood pressure is often associated with damage to your heart and, in particular, to coronary artery disease.
Coronary artery disease is in fact a term used to describe a number of diseases which affect the arteries supplying blood to the heart.
