If you are particularly nervous whenever you’re behind the wheel, your nervousness may actually be triggering panic attacks that are difficult to overcome. As a matter of fact, overcoming an anxiety attack while driving can be a very difficult thing to do indeed. That is why the first thing that I recommend is that you pulled the car over and allow yourself to concentrate on the attack that you are having. Typically, once you’re off the road your stress level is going to lower to an extent where the attack will pass more naturally. This can allow you to get back on the road and finish your trip.
