My best friend and her husband had a wonderful pet, Frankie for many years. I even remember the day they got him. Unfortunately, after a long illness, Frankie passed away a few months ago. The doctor took care of the arrangements and even got them one of those cool photo pet urns. Jeff, my friend’s husband, keeps the tin on his dresser top with a photo of him and Frankie together. He says it helps keep the memory alive and keeps him from missing the dog quite so much. While I think it’s touching, I was surprised at how much he missed the dog.
