When my grandmother passed away, she left a number of items in her estate to me. In addition to the house and car, I inherited a few pieces of her furniture as well. This definitely worked out in my favor because I love unique furniture, and she has some beautiful pieces. I am now the proud owner of a Victorian dining room set, an French armoire, and a Bertoia chair, to name a few. I am going to have to do a little redecorating to make these pieces fit with the rest of my decor. I may actually get rid of some of my furniture to create a less cluttered feel.
