In the end, we used a french press coffee maker. I do not know if you consider that to be a good coffee maker, but after a few months of looking, we gave up. What were we looking for? Well, we were like the rest of the coffee loving folks, looking around for the best coffee makers, hoping to find a coffee brewer that would solve all our coffee issues and provide us with a good cup of coffee. But, of course, it is not that easy and we end up spending a few months looking around with really finding even one coffee maker that we all could decide is good. Finally, the brewer that we all could decide is good, happens to be coffee press, so that is what we get in the end.
