Regardless of breed, the best dog for indoors is a dog that tolerates it well.  there is a certain personality type that a dog should have when it comes to living indoors much of the time.  Obviously the dog needs to be calm and sort of easy going.  He or she should also be comfortable being alone.  some dogs do not like to be left alone and when they are they tend to take out their frustration on the furniture or anything that is available.  Outdoor dogs love to run and play and have lots of energy to burn.  Indoor dogs, not so much…
