I went to this seminar last weekend on public speaking. The guy said that the best way to practice public speaking was to do magic tricks. He said once you find out some magic tricks revealed, you will be able to show them to others, and that will vastly improve your speaking skills. It makes sense, because when you do magic you really have to pay attention to the crowd, and know exactly when to spring the trick on them. Which is why it’s good to really know the trick inside and out before you do it in front of a life audience.
