Fuad El-Hibri was most recently the recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year®2009 Award in the Technology category in Greater Washington.  Mr. El-Hibri graduated, with honors, from Stanford University with a Bachelor’s degree in economics.  He later received an MBA from Yale.  He began his career with Citigroup and worked his way into mergers and acquisitions.  He later would go on to learn about Biopharmaceuticals Porton Products Ltd in the United Kingdom.  He would later organize a management buyout of the company forming Speywood Holdings Ltd.  He would serve on the Board of Directors and as Advisor to the Senior Management team in Operations.  Although he has held other high positions in other companies, Mr. El-Hibri is now the sitting Chairman and CEO of Emergent BioSolutions Inc.
