If you are into museums and natural history, then Jackson Mississippi will be a treat for you.  You can spend a few days going through the many museums they have to offer.  If you like natural science, then head to the Museum of Natural Science.  You will visit indoor and outdoor exhibits and can walk through a native plant garden.  If you are looking for more, then go over to the Smith Robertson Museum where you will find civil rights movement memorabilia.  If you are an art lover, the Mississippi Museum of Art has paintings and sculptures from local and national artists.  It is the largest art collection in Mississippi.  For the sports lovers, the Sports Hall of Fame is also in Jackson.  There are many sports related things to do there, including playing sports and viewing hundreds of touch screens.  Jackson is filled with culture and history.  Don’t pass up your opportunity to go.
