I wouldn’t exactly call myself cheap but I do like to use the term frugal. I don’t see any point in paying for a more expensive item when the generic version is literally just as good. When it comes to doing a macbook memory upgrade this is exactly what I am talking about. The company version that they want you to buy at the store before you walk out costs about an extra four hundred bucks. If you are wise enough to wait and say no then you will be able to find the exact same unit in a generic version for only a hundred.
