The problem with R4 DS is that there are so many fakes on the market it is hard to know which one to purchase. First of all you should know that all variations on the name R4 DS are fakes. N5, M2 or anything like that is not a real R4 DS. IF the box says version 2 or verison 3 or any other number it is a fake. There is actually a version 2 of the R4 DS but the only difference was that the spring loader which was sometimes faulty has been removed. This is not mentioned on the box at all so if it is on the box, move on.
