To be sure, mobile phones can be quite entertaining, even fascinating. The more features we have on our mobiles, from cameras to music and video players to games, etc., the more our attention is turned to them. However, even the simplest, most seemingly innocent of tasks such as talking on a mobile phone, though enjoyable to us, may be rude to someone else. Always practice proper mobile phone etiquette. Don’t talk on the phone in a restaurant - your dining partner deserves your attention, and no one else wants to hear your half of the phone conversation, either. Always mute your phone at the cinema. Never, ever answer your phone in church! (Yes, I’ve actually seen people do this.)
