In my training, I learned that this pos hardware will also keep people from shoplifting by not recognizing things that pass by the register without being scanned. It will then not allow you to proceed with your purchase. That could save people millions. The store alone could benefit greatly from that kind of software. I liked that it recognized the produce on the scanner. No more of that touching in numbers for this fruit or that vegetable. The scanner will already know the price and weight of each of these types of products., I guess that really will make things much easier.
